Actress Lovey Sasan , best known for her role as Paridhi Modi in the popular television drama Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, is cherishing a new phase of life with her young sons, Royce and Prince. The actress, who has also appeared in shows like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Kitani Mohabbat Hai 2, and Kya Huaa Tera Vaada, often shares glimpses of her family life and festive celebrations, and this year holds special meaning for her.
Lovey revealed that both her children have developed a fondness for Lord Ganesha and Lord Krishna. As they grow older and begin to understand rituals, the family has been joyfully celebrating both Janmashtami and Ganesh Chaturthi . “My sons wanted us to celebrate both the festivals. The year becomes special for us, and hosting these festivals is making us feel special and blissful,” she expressed.
For Lovey, passing on cultural and spiritual values to her children is of utmost importance. She believes the universal appeal of these deities resonates strongly with young minds. “I’m glad my kids are connected to the ground and respect our ethics, culture, and rituals. For children, the universal appeal of Lord Ganesha and Lord Krishna comes from their fun, relatable, and accessible stories. It’s our duty as parents to make this connection stronger and faithful,” she said.
Along with instilling faith and tradition, Lovey also emphasizes the importance of eco-friendly celebrations . She guides her sons to celebrate festivals responsibly, ensuring respect for both culture and the environment. “Eco-friendly celebrations foster positive behavioral shifts and awareness about environmental issues. It ensures that traditions continue without compromising the planet’s health. I want my kids to understand that protecting the environment is important because it is created by God Himself,” she explained.
Currently settled in Bengaluru with her businessman husband Koushik Krishnamurthy and their two sons, Lovey continues to balance family life with her professional commitments in Mumbai. For her, this blend of faith, family, and sustainability defines the true essence of festive celebrations.
