  Anjali said that the event managers did not take her calls when she dialed them to discuss the issue involving Pawan.       Meanwhile, Pawan's wife Jyoti Singh also penned a note on social media saying that she feels abandoned by him as they have not spoken in months. She alleged that she would have stayed away from him like before had he not consoled her during the Lok Sabha elections and got her with him. Anjali said that for her "self immolation" seems like the way out of this situation. Ending her note with a desperate plea, Jyoti wrote, "I have been struggling for seven years, and now I am beginning to hate my own life. Just once, please talk to me, reply to my calls and messages, try to understand my pain at least once."
