Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane has stressed the importance of financial independence for women. She said that having one’s own income creates unmatched confidence.

A short video clip of the actress went viral on social media. In the clip, she speaks directly to young women and shares her thoughts.

Mawra said, “To all the girls watching me, I want to say that in today’s world nothing is greater than financial independence. It does not matter how wealthy your family is. It does not matter how strong your background may be. Even if your husband or in-laws are rich, you will only feel true confidence when you have money earned by yourself.”

Her statement quickly caught attention online. Many social media users supported her opinion. They said that in today’s time, it is very important for women to have their own income.

However, some people disagreed with her. They argued that in the present era, when jobs are scarce and earning is difficult, such advice can feel unrealistic.

Mawra’s comments have reignited the debate about women’s empowerment and financial security. The clip continues to generate wide discussion on different social media platforms.
