Commercial gas cylinder prices cut
Commercial LPG gas cylinders prices have been reduced by Rs 51. This decision has been taken by oil marketing companies keeping in mind the convenience of the people. The prices of only 19 kg commercial gas cylinders have been reduced, while the prices of other cylinders will remain undone. The new rates will be effective from September 1.
Continuous fall in prices
Except for March, the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders have been continuously decreasing since 1 January 2025. During this, there was a decrease of Rs 14.50 on January 1 and Rs 7 in February. Recently there has been a cut of Rs 51.50 again. It is expected that the government may make further cuts in the future.
Domestic LPG connections growth
The number of domestic LPG connections has doubled in the last decade. By April 2025, this number is expected to reach around 33 crores. This indicates how necessary LPG has become for Indian families. The government has simplified the process of obtaining connections, making more people taking LPG connections.
Restaurants and businessmen will get relief
Small and large restaurants and food businesses will benefit from the decrease in commercial gas cylinders. The cost of fuel can increase their profits. Although the prices of domestic cylinders remain stable, if LPG prices remain stable in the global market, then domestic cylinders can also provide relief.
