Actress and TV host Sanam Jung has opened up about a past incident in which she was deceived over a TV channel commission. She said that despite paying money for two years, she never received the promised commission.

Sanam recently appeared on the show Hansi Mana Hai. She spoke openly about her personal and professional life.

She clarified that she has not completely left showbiz. However, she is currently unable to host TV shows. She continues to work on advertisements and other projects while living in the United States. Sanam said her one-year-old daughter is her priority, and she cannot leave her alone.

Answering a question about her husband, she said that if he had quit his job to move to Pakistan for her, she would have had fewer work opportunities. She added that his staying in the U.S. has not affected her career. She continues to work while living abroad.

Sanam also talked about her university days. She admitted that she sometimes lied about her attendance to avoid failing. She would tell teachers that she was the only earning member of her family and could not attend all classes. Despite this, she took multiple subjects at once, appeared in exams, and completed her degree successfully.

She said taking multiple subjects simultaneously was not allowed. However, she would convince her teachers that if she was denied more subjects, her family would arrange her marriage, and she would not be able to complete her education. Her teachers would often accept her explanation.

The actress also admitted to making mistakes while hosting morning shows. She would apologize for them because mistakes on live TV cannot be corrected immediately.

Regarding the commission issue, Sanam revealed that during her employment at a TV channel, she was repeatedly asked for money under the name of a commission. She said she had no intention of taking a commission herself. But someone forced her to pay. That month, when she was supposed to receive the commission, it was not given.

She added that she continued to be charged regularly, yet she never received the promised commission. Later, she found out that many employees had left the channel. The head of the commission had been stuck in complications. This is why she was deceived.
