LPG Price 1 September 2025: There has been some relief from inflation from September 1, as government oil companies have reduced the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. The price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has been reduced by about 51.50. These cylinders are usually used in restaurants, hotels and wedding parties. The new rates have come into effect from September 1, 2025, which will provide some relief to commercial consumers. However, there has been no change in the prices of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder for domestic use. That is, the price of LPG used in homes will remain the same as before.
In Delhi, 19 kg LPG cylinder has become cheaper by ₹ 51 from today. Now its new price is ₹ 1580, which was earlier ₹ 1631. At the same time, there is no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder and it is being given to consumers at ₹ 853 as before.
Know the price of commercial LPG cylinder in Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai
The price of commercial LPG cylinder has decreased. In Kolkata, the price is now ₹ 1684, which was ₹ 1734 in August and ₹ 1769 in July. The new price in Mumbai is ₹ 1531.50, while it was ₹ 1582.50 in August and ₹ 1616 in July. In Chennai, the cylinder will now be available for ₹ 1738, which was ₹ 1789 in August and ₹ 1823.50 in July.
How much was the price reduced on August 1
On August 1, the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder was reduced by ₹ 33.50. The new prices were effective from August 1. The retail price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder in Delhi was Rs 1,631.50. In Kolkata, the price of commercial LPG cylinder was reduced by Rs 35 to Rs 1734 from August 1. On the first day of August, the price of commercial LPG cylinder in Mumbai was reduced by Rs 33.50 to Rs 1582.50. In Chennai, the price of commercial LPG cylinder was Rs 1789 from August 1.
When did the price of domestic LPG change?
On 8 April 2025, the price of domestic LPG cylinder increased by ₹ 50 and the new price in Delhi became ₹ 853. Since then, this is the rate. Earlier on 30 August 2023, the government had made a big cut of ₹ 200 on domestic cylinders.
