Under the new system, members will now be able to withdraw PF amount directly through ATM or UPI by linking their Aadhaar and bank account with Universal Account Number (UAN). So if money is needed in an emergency, there will be no need for long paperwork like before. This change is considered a big step towards making EPFO completely digital and user-friendly.

Claim will become easy.
Under the EPFO 3.0 system, the correction and claim process is being made very easy and transparent. Now members will not have to visit offices for minor mistakes, because with the help of OTP verification, necessary updates and corrections can be done online from home. Yes, now if a member dies and the nominee is a minor at that time, then his guardian will not need to provide a guardian certificate.
