Welsh actress Eve Myles, known for her roles in Torchwood, Broadchurch, Keeping Faith and Cold Feet, is set to star in two prime-time TV dramas - The Guest on BBC One and ITV's Coldwater.
The Guest, a four-part series premiering on 1 September, centres around two women, successful business owner Fran (played by Eve), and her cleaner Ria (Gabrielle Creevy).
As Ria forms an unlikely bond with Fran, she becomes enamoured by her confidence and self-assuredness. However, their lives become entangled in dangerous schemes and shared secrets following an unexpected event.

Meanwhile, Coldwater, debuting on 14 September, also features Andrew Lincoln and is a darkly humorous thriller set in the Scottish Highlands that explores family, masculinity and, surprisingly, serial killers.

Off-screen, Ystradgynlais-born Eve, 47, is a mother of three who resides with her family in Cardiff. In 2013, actress Eve tied the knot with her long-term partner Bradley Freegard in a romantic ceremony in Italy. The wedding was so exclusive that it only had one guest - their then three year old daughter Matilda, reports WalesOnline.
The Tuscany nuptials took place roughly 15 years after she began her romance with her partner, who is also a renowned actor and appeared alongside her in the eerie Welsh drama Un Bore Mercher/Keeping Faith.
"It was heaven on earth," she told WalesOnline a month after the ceremony.
"I'd put my wedding off three times because of work commitments. This time I said we're not putting it off this time, we're getting married this year."

Wearing a gown created by Jenny Packham – whose clients include the Duchess of Cambridge and Angelina Jolie – the pair shared traditional Italian wedding vows before enjoying an intimate family feast in what Eve described as the "most beautiful room I have ever been in".
"It was in the most beautiful villa, we sat on a big wedding table, with crystal chandeliers above us and we had our own waiter. Matilda was just happily running around. It was an amazing day," she said.
"And the day after we just visited Florence and Siena eating pizza and drinking cold beer. Italy is an amazing country."
She added of getting married: "It does feel different from before, it's a nice warm feeling. It is nice for Matilda to to know that her mum and dad are married. We are all Myles-Freegards now."

The 2013 wedding was a long-time coming for Eve and Bradley, who first crossed paths at the National Youth Theatre during the 1990s. Eve cheekily revealed about their first encounter: "I couldn't get rid of him, and then he became part of the furniture. He would knock on my dorm-room door all the time with Champagne and glasses he'd pinched from his mother's house.
"Then one day I realised he was rather handsome!"
Bradley had previously confessed: "I was attracted to her straight away, she's got a fantastic personality and similar sense of humour as me, so we just get on really well."
The pair now share three daughters, with their middle child named after Siena - after the stunning Italian city where they exchanged vows years earlier.
Following Siena's arrival in 2014, Eve explained: "As we got married in Siena we felt that if it was a little girl we couldn't have named her anything else really."
The Guest starts on BBC One on Monday, September 1 at 9pm. Coldwater starts on ITV1 and ITVX on Sunday, September 14
