In an interview with The Independent Ink last month, Waters was asked about Ozzy, who died on July 22 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. His response was blunt and dismissive.

Waters said, “Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in his whatever that state that he was in his whole life,” adding, “We’ll never know. The music, I have no idea. I couldn’t give a f–k,” as quoted by a New York Post report.


He also said that, “I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did,” the 'Comfortably Numb' bassist added, “Have no interest in biting the heads off chickens or whatever they do. I couldn’t care less, you know,” as quoted in the report.

Jack Osbourne Calls Roger Waters ‘Pathetic’ in Instagram Story

After hearing Waters’ harsh remarks for the first time this week, Jack Osbourne, responded publicly on Tuesday, September 2, via Instagram Stories, calling out Waters for what he viewed as a deeply disrespectful statement about his father, according to the New York Post.

The 39 year old wrote, “Hey [Roger Waters],” adding, “F–k you. How pathetic and out of touch you’ve become,” as quoted in the report.

Jack Osbourne went on to say that, “The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bulls–t in the press,” the former 'Osbournes' reality star added that, “My father always thought you were a c–t – thanks for proving him right,” as quoted in the New York Post.

He ended the message with a clown face emoji before returning to his Instagram Stories once more to share the hashtag “f–krogerwaters”, according to the report.

Ozzy Osbourne Praised Pink Floyd Despite Waters’ Longtime Hatred

However, Ozzy Osbourne, had reportedly spoke highly of Pink Floyd throughout his life, and called “Money” one of his favorite rock songs, during an interview with Rolling Stone in 2004. While, Waters has reportedly always been a Black Sabbath hater, and even gave a mean review of their debut song, “Evil Woman,” in 1970, as reported by Far Out Magazine.
