If you are planning to go to the bank you must check whether banks are open or closed in your state. As it is not a gazetted holiday banks in several states will remain open like regular days. Eid-e-Milad Festival is celebrated as the birthday of Prophet Muhammad. Thiruvonam Festival is celebrated in Kerala. This is a festival celebrated on the next day of Onam. Nowadays most of the work is done digitally. During bank holidays you can do many things through mobile banking app internet banking ATM and UPI. You can check account balance transfer money through NEFT RTGS IMPS or UPI pay bills and EMIs. Apart from this you can open or close fixed and recurring deposits block lost debit or credit cards order check book or statement and also open a new savings account through digital KYC.
