The absence of the stomach properly not only makes you feel uncomfortable throughout the day, but it can also become the root of many other diseases. Yes, there are two such miraculous yogasanas which if you include in your routine, then the problem of constipation can be eliminated from the root. These are asanas – Pawanmuktasana And MalasanCome, let’s know how these asanas work and what is the right way to do them.

1. Wind-Relieving Pose

As the name is clear from the name, this asana helps in removing (free) of the gas (wind) stuck in the stomach. This asana directly affects our digestive system and helps in furthering the stool by massaging the intestines.

How to do Pawanmuktasana?

  1. Lie up straight on your back and keep your feet straight.
  2. Now, while exhaling slowly, bend both your knees and bring them towards your chest.
  3. Catch the knees by implicating the fingers of both your hands and try to press them on the stomach.
  4. Now, while breathing, raise your head above the ground and try to touch your chin or nose with knees.
  5. In this situation, stop for 20 to 30 seconds according to your capacity and keep breathing normally.
  6. Slowly, exhale, come back to your old position. Repeat this process 3 to 5 times.

2. Maland Pose

‘Mal’ means dirt. This asana makes the process of removing the stool out of the body. It brings our intestines to the right position, which cleanses the stomach easily. Actually, this is the same desi uttering seating posture, which our elders used to adopt and live healthy.

How to do Malason?

  1. Stand up straight between the two legs and stand upright.
  2. Now slowly bend your knees and sit downwards, just as you sit in the desi toilet (squat position).
  3. Your feet should be completely on the ground.
  4. Now keep both your elbows inside your knees and add both hands in front of the chest.
  5. Put a slight pressure on the knees with elbows so that they spread outwards.
  6. Try to keep your spine straight. Stay in this situation for 30 to 60 seconds.
  7. After this, slowly stand back.

When to do this asana?
The best time to do these two asanas is an empty stomach in the morning. By doing these asanas just 5 to 10 minutes every morning, you will see that your constipation problem is slowly ending.

One important thing: If there is a serious problem in your knees, waist or stomach or there is an operation recently, then before doing these asanas, consult a yoga specialist or doctor.
