
New Delhi. Monsoon is going to be active in full force across the country this week. The Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of thunderstorms along with heavy rains in many states from North India to East, West, South and Northeast India in the coming days.
Gujarat There will be heavy rains in Gujarat for the next three days. Very heavy rains are expected
in Saurashtra and Kutch on 6 and 7 September .
There is a possibility of heavy rain in some areas of Uttarakhand and Rajasthan
till September 8. At the same time, there may be continuous heavy rain in eastern and western Rajasthan on September 5, 6 and 7.
Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and UP
Heavy rains are expected in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh on September 5 and 10. Rains are also expected in Uttar Pradesh on September 9.
Central India:
Heavy rain warning has been issued for Eastern and Western Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha on 5th and 6th September.
East India and Islands
Heavy rains are expected in Andaman-Nicobar, West Bengal and Sikkim on September 6 and 7. Bihar may also receive good rainfall between September 8 and 10.
Northeast India:
Heavy rains will continue over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura from September 5 to 7. Very heavy rains may occur over parts of Arunachal Pradesh from September 6 to 10.
South India:
Heavy rains with thunderstorms are expected in Tamil Nadu on September 8 and 9. Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema may witness rains with strong winds for the next five days.
