Bihar Weather Alert: Monsoon is becoming active again, there is a danger of heavy rain and thunderstorm in many districts

Patna. Monsoon is going to gain strength once again in Bihar. According to the Meteorological Department Patna, thunderstorms and heavy rains are expected in most parts of the state from September 10. On Saturday, a warning has been issued regarding cloudy weather, lightning and thunderstorm in 11 districts including the capital Patna.

Meteorologists say that strong winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in these areas . The maximum temperature is expected to drop by 2 to 3 degrees within four days. A yellow alert has been issued in Buxar, Bhojpur, Bhabua, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Munger, Banka and Jamui on Saturday.

Situation of the last 24 hours
During the last 24 hours, it rained at many places in Patna district. Masaurhi recorded the highest rainfall of 24.2 mm. On Friday, people were troubled a lot by the scorching sun and humidity in Patna and surrounding areas. Patna was recorded as the hottest in this season, where the maximum temperature reached 36.5 degree Celsius .

Where it rained:
24.2 mm rain was recorded in Raghunathpur in Siwan, 22.2 mm in Dulhin Bazar in Patna, 21.6 mm in Rajpur in Buxar, 20 mm in Naubatpur, 19.4 mm in Modanganj of Jehanabad, 15.2 mm in Bihta, 12.6 mm in Siwan and 12.2 mm in Parbatta of Khagaria. 8.6 mm rain was recorded in Sultanganj of Bhagalpur and 6.8 mm in Deo of Aurangabad.
