
Lucknow. The weather in Uttar Pradesh is once again changing. For the last few days, the weather has remained stable in most parts of the state, light rain and thundershowers have been seen at some places.
However, according to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in eastern Uttar Pradesh in the coming days, especially on 10 and 11 September.
6 to 9 September: Light rain is expected
There is no possibility of any major or widespread rain in the state from September 6 to September 9. During this period, light rain and thundershowers may occur at some places in the western and eastern parts of the state. On Friday, a sudden change in the weather was seen in cities like Lucknow, but that too lasted only for a short time, due to which an increase in humidity was felt.
September 10 and 11: Heavy rain in eastern UP
The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for eastern Uttar Pradesh on September 10 and 11. This alert indicates that heavy showers may occur in some areas during this period, which may also lead to situations like local waterlogging or damage to crops. On the other hand, no heavy rain is expected in western Uttar Pradesh during these dates, although light or moderate rain may occur at some places.
Advice for farmers and common people
Farmers are advised to take measures to protect their crops in advance in view of the expected heavy rains on September 10 and 11. Also, residents of areas where there is a problem of waterlogging also need to be alert.
