
Aerocon 2025 launched
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated the two-day program of ‘Arocon 2025’ Chhattisgarh-Madhya Pradesh Chapter at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Auditorium in Raipur on Saturday. On this occasion, he said that the health of 3 crore people is the top priority for the state government. He also clarified that there will be no shortage of funds for health facilities.
Improvement in health facilities
The Chief Minister announced the construction of a new hostel for students of Medical College Raipur at a cost of Rs 65 crore. He said that thousands of patients struggling with serious diseases like cancer are taking advantage of doctors’ advice and latest medical practices. In the last two decades, the initial identity of cancer and research in treatment has raised new expectations.
Progress in cancer treatment
CM Sai said that Cancer Day-Care Centers are being set up in every district under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Chhattisgarh is moving fast in this direction. He mentioned the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme, under which treatment of patients is being possible. Patients are getting relief from decrease in prices of cancer drugs and equipment in GST. State hospitals are providing state -of -the -art equipment for cancer treatment, and a robotic surgery system is being launched in AIIMS Raipur.
