Initially Qadri was an artist who painted hoarding boards for a living. While growing up his family and friends often told him about his resemblance to the actor but he ignored it. But things got real when he was in Rajkot for an IPL match where people mistook him for SRK causing a near-stampede. That incident changed everything.
