What do doctors say?

“Suddenly deep spots on the skin may be the result of hormonal imbalance, nutritional deficiency or liver functioning disturbances. If these spots are constantly increasing or there are problems like itching, pain, swelling, then a doctor should be consulted immediately,”

Possible reasons that can cause black spots:

Hormonal changes:
Hormonal fluctuations during pregnancy, PCOD or menopause in women can cause melasma (black spots) on the face or neck.

Liver problems:
The liver works to remove toxins from the body. If the liver is weak, the skin may be affected in the form of pigmentation or spots.

Diabetes:
In diabetic patients, spots like black, velvet can emerge on the skin, which is called “Acanthosis Nigricans” in medical language.

vitamin deficiency:
Vitamin B12, D and E deficiency can also cause dark spots on the skin.

Effect of sunshine:
The direct exposure of UV rays causes skin damage, making sun spots or edge spots.

Skin Disease or Cancer:
In some cases, skin cancer may also have early symptoms like mole (sesame) or patches melanoma.

What are rescue and solutions?

Use sunscreen regularly.

Take food containing green vegetables, fruits and antioxidants.

Get a dermatologist checked at least once a year.
