'Krrish 4 Will Release In…' Rakesh Roshan Drops Major Updates On Hrithik's Superhero Film

A few weeks ago, Rakesh Roshan announced that he will be stepping down from the director’s chair for Krrish 4 and Hrithik Roshan will take charge, apart from playing the lead in the movie.

In a recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Rakesh Roshan revealed the schedule for Krrish 4.

Rakesh Roshan said that the script is of the utmost priority to them and he is currently developing it.

He stated, “The script didn’t take a lot of time. The pressure was the budgeting. Now that we have an idea of the definite budget required for this film, we’ll be starting the film.”

About the schedule of the movie, Rakesh said, “The work is going on all in full swing. We are going to start the shoot of the film by the middle of next year. This is because the pre-production is much more extensive in this film. Hence, we have to be well-prepared before we go on floors.”

Rakesh Roshan said that he is planning to release Krrish 4 in 2027.

Touted to be the biggest superhero of Indian cinema, Krrish 4 stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead role alongside Priyanka Chopra.

According to various reports, Krrish 4 will mark the return of Jaadoo and will also explore the theme of time travel.

Krrish 4 is the highly anticipated fourth instalment of the blockbuster superhero franchise, following Koi Mil Gaya (2003), Krrish (2006), and Krrish 3 (2013), all directed by Rakesh Roshan. Interestingly, this time the film is being co-produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF), marking the first-ever collaboration between YRF and Rakesh Roshan’s renowned production banner, Filmkraft.

Koi…Mil Gaya explored the theme of extraterrestrial life, where Jaadoo arrives on Earth and helps the bullied teenager Rohit. In Krrish, the story continues with Rohit’s son Krishna, who inherits Jaadoo’s powers and transforms into a superhero, ultimately saving his father. Krrish 3 takes the saga forward, with Krishna facing off against his brother Kaal and the deadly mutants created by him.
