Pakistani singer and humanitarian HDIQA Kiani has once again stepped up for flood relief, this time visiting the flood-affected areas of MattressPunjab. In a heartfelt video message shared on Instagram, she made an urgent appeal to the public for donations, medical supplies, and volunteer doctors to help save lives — both human and animal — in the flood-ravaged region.

In the video, Hadiqa highlighted the desperate need for essentials including food, clothes, bedding, and medicines. With winter approaching, she stressed that jackets and blankets are also critically needed to help families survive the harsh conditions.

Addressing the health crisis, she invited doctors and medical professionals to set up free medical camps in the affected areas, as diseases like malaria are spreading rapidly due to stagnant water and poor sanitary conditions.

Hadiqa also drew attention to the dire state of livestockstating that most animals have either perished in the floods or are in urgent need of food, medicine, and veterinary care. She emphasized that for many rural families, livestock are their only means of income and survival.

To facilitate relief efforts, she announced that donation drop-off points have been established at:

  • Dolmen Mall Lahore (Gate 2)

  • Fortress Stadium, Lahore

  • Circuit House, Sheikhupura

  • District Public School, Kasur

  • Govt. Teacher Nanak College, Nrikai Sahib

She clarified that both cash and material donations are being accepted. Those who cannot visit in person are encouraged to contribute via bank transfer to the Army Relief Fund for Flood Affectees.

This is not the first time Hadiqa Kiani has actively participated in flood relief efforts. During the catastrophic 2022 floods, she launched the “Vaseela-e-raah” campaignproviding not just emergency aid but also launching long-term rehabilitation projects for the affected communities.

According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA)the 2025 monsoon season has so far resulted in:

The worst-hit region is Khyber Pakhtunkhwawhere over 3,200 homes have been destroyed and more than 5,400 animals lost. Significant damages have also been reported in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

As the floods move southward, Punjab is now facing the worst flooding in its historywith over 4.1 million people affected. Sindh is expected to be hit next, where heavy rainfall has already displaced more than 128,000 people.

Hadiqa Kiani’s appeal comes at a crucial time, and her continued commitment to humanitarian causes has made her a symbol of hope in times of national crisis. Numerous other organizations are also active on the ground across Punjab, KPK, GB, and AJK, working tirelessly to provide aid and support to those in need.
