Roadmap up to 2027
China’s new plan aims to create a strong innovation system of AI-Energy Integration by 2027. Under this:
- Data sharing mechanism will be improved.
- Strong coordination between computing power and power supply will be established.
- Software and AI will be deeply included in the energy sector.
- During this time special attention will be paid to smart factories and AI investment, so that production and energy use can become more efficient.
Achievements so far

Vision by 2030
The next major goal of the government is to use AI in the energy sector by 2030 to reach the global level. Till that time there will be special emphasis on developing more advanced coordination mechanisms between power supply and computing power.
Note
This strategy of China is not only limited to the domestic industry, but also aims to achieve global leadership in the AI and the energy sector. Experts believe that in the coming years this initiative will take energy efficiency, smart grid and e-vehicle technology to a new height.
