In this era of Digital India, online money transfer has become a common thing. Whether you have to make a small payment to someone or a big business transaction, everything is done in a jiffy through mobile. However, where there is convenience, there is also danger hidden. A little carelessness can take away your hard-earned money. Therefore, while doing an online transaction, you must keep 5 things in mind.
1- Search the number on Google
If you are sending money to an unknown person, then to avoid fraud, definitely search the number on Google once. Many times, people have written some reviews on Google about the number of fraudsters, which will help you avoid getting into any trouble.
2- Do NEFT/IMPS instead of UPI
UPI does not reveal much information about the other person, so transfer money through NEFT/IMPS. You get extra security in sending money through NEFT/IMPS, because it reveals the identity of the people.
3- Do not hurry
Do not transfer money in a hurry, because once the money goes to the wrong account, it becomes difficult to get it back. In such a situation, before sending money, check the name, account number, and IFSC code thoroughly.
4- Test by sending less money
Before sending the entire amount, test it once by sending 1-2 rupees, so that if there is any problem, it can be known. If there is any problem and the money does not reach the other person's account, then understand that you have made a mistake and check all the information again.
5- Pay by cheque
If you have to pay money to an unknown company, then try to pay by cheque, fraud will not happen. In case of payment by cheque, it is encashed only after complete investigation by the bank, due to which the chances of fraud are greatly reduced.
