
RRB Group D Exam Pattern: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the schedule of the Group D Recruitment Exam 2025 on Monday (September 8). After the wait of lakhs of candidates, it is finally clear that the RRB Group D exam, one of the biggest recruitments of Railways, will start from November 17 and will run till the end of December.
According to the official notice, the exam city slip will be released 10 days before the exam, which will make it easier for the candidates to make travel plans. At the same time, the admit cards will be available on the RRB website 4 days before the exam.

A total of 32,438 posts will be appointed under this recruitment. It will recruit various technical and support posts, which include:

Railway Group D Exam Pattern
As per the RRB Group D exam pattern, it will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) in which all the questions will be of multiple-choice objective type. The exam will have a total of 100 questions, and the total time duration will be 90 minutes. While for PwBD candidates, the exam duration will be 120 minutes with a scribe. It will have 25-25 questions from General Science and Mathematics, 30 questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, and 20 questions from General Awareness and Current Affairs. 1 mark will be given for each correct answer, while 1/3 marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.
Selection Process (RRB Group D Selection Process)
The Railway Group D selection process consists of a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Document Verification. The process of mark normalization will be applicable in CBT. After the CBT exam, successful candidates will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test, where they will have to pass the physical tests. After this, there will be a document verification process.
