UPSC Geo-Scientist Interview: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the interview schedule for the Combined Geologist Examination 2025. Personality tests for the candidates who are successful in the written examination will be conducted from September 23. E-call letters of the candidates will be available soon on the official website of the commission upsc.gov.in, and upsconline.nic.in.

The interview will be held in two sessions.
The commission has clarified that no change in the date and time of the interview will be accepted. The schedule contains the roll number of the candidates, date, day, and session of the interview. Interviews will be held in two sessions daily - a 9 am to forenoon session and a 1 pm to afternoon session.

UPSC interviews will start from September 23.

E-call letters will be released on the website soon.

Travel allowance will be available only on the second/sleeper class train fare.

296 candidates selected for interview.

Candidates will get a travel allowance.

Provision has also been made to give travel allowance to candidates coming from outside. However, the Commission has made it clear that travel allowance will be given only based on prescribed conditions. Candidates will get fare reimbursement for second-class or sleeper-class train (mail/express).

For this, it will be mandatory for the candidates to submit a hard copy or printout of the ticket and TA claim form (filled in two copies). The claim will be rejected if the rules are not followed.

296 candidates were selected for an interview

It is worth noting that the Commission had released the results of the main examination in July, in which a total of 296 candidates were selected for interview. These include 64 geologists, 135 hydrogeologists, 69 geophysicists and 28 chemistry/chemical subject candidates.
