‘My image is getting spoiled’, Aishwarya Rai upset AI

Bollywood veteran actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has taken a big step against the misuse of digital technology. He has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court alleging damage to his image from fake pictures and videos being spread on social media through AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Deepfek technology.

In this petition, Aishwarya Rai has demanded the court to remove all such deepfac content and prevent it from spreading in future, which have been made without their permission and are hurting their reputation.

What is the matter?

The petition filed by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s lawyer states that in the last few months, her fake pictures and videos on social media and various websites are becoming increasingly viral. Many of these content are such that anyone can cheat that he is real. Actually, these photos and videos are designed through AI tools, which are completely artificial and misleading.

Aishwarya says that these fake content is not only harming her private and professional image, but also affecting her family’s reputation.

High court comments and interim relief

The Delhi High Court, taking serious cognizance of this petition, said that the increasing trend of Deepfek and AI-generated content is becoming a threat to democracy, privacy and personal prestige.

The court has issued notice to several social media platforms and anonymous websites and asked them to remove any fake content to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan immediately and do not allow such content in future.

AI and Deepfek’s growing challenge

With the use of AI and Deepfek technology, the voice, face and gesture of any person can now be copied exactly. This technology is a boon in areas like film, entertainment and marketing, but misuse has become a big threat to the society.
