
DSSSB Recruitment 2025: This is a great opportunity for 10th pass youth to get a government job. Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board (DSSSB) has invited applications for more than 100 vacant posts of caretaker. Interested and eligible candidates can fill the online application form by visiting the official website of DSSSB dsssb.delhi.giv.in.
Applications will run till 16 September.
Caretakers will be recruited in the Social Welfare Department of Delhi. The application process for DSSSB Recruitment 2025 is going on from 18 August 2025. A total of 114 vacancies will be filled on the Caretaker post (post code 40/25) through the DSSSB Recruitment 2025 campaign. The number of category-wise reserved seats can be seen in the table below.

Candidates who have passed 10th (Matriculation) from a recognized board can apply for the DSSSB Caretaker post. Provided they have worked as a caretaker for at least 6 months in a registered institution.
Age limit
The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and the maximum 27 years. However, reserved category candidates will be given maximum age relaxation as per government rules. Candidates are advised to read the notification carefully before applying.
Application Fee
General, OBC, and EWS category candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 100, while all other reserved category candidates (SC/ST/PH) and women do not have to pay any fee. Fee can be deposited only in online mode through debit card, credit card, internet banking, etc.

DSSSB Caretaker Salary?
Candidates getting appointed as caretakers in Delhi's Social Welfare Department will get a salary ranging from Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900 under the 7th Pay Commission (7th CPC) Level-1 Group C. Rs 18,000 is the starting basic salary, and the first salary in-hand can be more than Rs 23,000 by adding DA and HRA. At the same time, Rs 56,900 is the maximum starting basic salary.
Selection Process
Eligible applicants will be selected based on an objective-type multiple-choice question (MCQs) exam. 200 MCQ questions will be asked in the 2-hour exam. Each question will be of one mark. The paper will have 40-40 questions from General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability, Arithmetic and Numerical Ability, Hindi and English Language Comprehension.
