Kerala Online Gift Fraud Prevention: The way of cheating by promising to give precious gifts by friendship on social media is increasing again, the Kerala Police has warned. After acquainted on social media, this new scam begins by winning your trust by calling yourself rich. Then you are promised to give precious gifts. The gifts and its packing, along with the address, will also be sent to you.
The real fraud now begins. You will get a fake phone in the name of a custom or airport security officer. The caller will say that the parcel of millions has come in your name, whose custom has not been paid and if you do not give money then legal action will be taken. Never give money in the greed of a gift sent by unknown friend or fear. The Kerala Police has reported that this is a scam. Contact immediately at 1930 if such online financial fraud is victim.
