Defending champions Team India will begin their campaign in the Asia Cup 2025 with a Group A match against hosts United Arab Emirates at the Dubai International Stadium on Wednesday. It is just the second match between India and UAE in the Asia Cup and the first one after 2016 when Indians won by nine wickets. Suryakumar Yadav’s side will be making a few big selection calls like dropping Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson and Kolkata Knight Riders batter Rinku Singh and bringing in Jitesh Sharma and Shubman Gill.
