Bihar Chief Minister Launches Major Infrastructure Projects Worth Over ₹1433 Crores

Inauguration of Key Development Initiatives

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has inaugurated six significant projects in Patna district, with a total investment of ₹1433.77 crores. The CM conducted the foundation stone laying ceremony remotely from events held in Didarganj and Baid, unveiling plaques for various initiatives.


Among the projects, the expansion of State Highway 106, which connects Didarganj, Fatuha, and Bakhtiyarpur, will be upgraded to a four-lane road at a cost of ₹1065.53 crores. Additionally, ₹9.05 crores will be allocated for the development of a crematorium near the Ummanath Temple in Baid, including the construction of an electric crematorium. Another project involves widening the Bakhtiyarpur-Baid-Mokama road, covering 45.70 km from Athmalgola to Mokama Bata Chowk, with an investment of ₹249.88 crores.


Further, ₹11.92 crores will be spent on constructing a bridge over the Ghoba River between Hidayatpur and Manjhauli in Bakhtiyarpur, while ₹67.74 crores will enhance the Ummanath Temple complex and improve civic amenities. Lastly, ₹29.65 crores will be directed towards the construction of a water drainage system in Baid.


Traffic Improvements and Development Updates

During the event, the Chief Minister emphasized that the widening of the four-lane road from Didarganj to Karjan will significantly ease traffic flow. The construction of an elevated bypass in Bakhtiyarpur and a flyover in Fatuha will further facilitate smoother transportation for residents. He also visited the steps at Bakhtiyarpur to review ongoing development works.


The CM conducted a ground inspection of the bypass along the Didarganj-Fatuha-Bakhtiyarpur-Karjan route, providing necessary directives to officials present.


Spiritual Blessings and Attendees

The Chief Minister also offered prayers at the Shri Radhe Krishna Temple in Bakhtiyarpur and the Ummanath Temple in Baid, seeking peace, prosperity, and well-being for the state. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Minister of Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs, Nandkishore Yadav, Speaker of the Bihar Assembly, and other representatives, along with senior officials from the state government.
