What is required to transfer PF?
- UAN is your unique PF account number, which is necessary for every employee.
- Aadhar card, PAN card or bank account details. These documents should be linked to your UAN.
- The establishment number and the PF account number of the old and new companies will be required.
- Form 13 will be required; this is a transfer claim form, which has to be filled out and submitted.
These conditions must be fulfilled to transfer PF online
- Your UAN must be active, and an active mobile number must be linked to it.
- Aadhaar, bank details and date of exit from the old job must be updated in UAN.
- E-KYC must be approved by your company.
- Only one transfer request is allowed for one member ID.
How to transfer the PF Account?
- First of all, go to the official website of EPFO and log in with your UAN and password.
- Click on Online Services and select ‘One Member-One EPF Account (Transfer Request)’.
- Verify your personal information and fill in the details of the old and new companies.
- Click on Get Details, which will show the details of your old PF account.
- Choose either the old or the new company, which has a digital signature (DSC) to verify the claim form.
- After this, you may have to enter the member ID or UAN.
- Click on Get OTP. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked to your UAN. Enter it and submit.
