DSSSB PRT Vacancy: Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has officially released the DSSSB Teacher Recruitment Notification (DSSSB Teacher Notification 2025) for the year 2025. Under this recruitment, applications have been invited for a total of 1180 Assistant Teacher posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for this recruitment from 17 September 2025 to 16 October 2025 by visiting the official website dsssb.delhi.gov.in.

Essential Qualifications

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (by any name known) from a recognized board.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) from a recognized Board as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) from a recognized Board.
OR
Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (by whatever name known) from a recognized Board.

Must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE.

One of the subjects Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, or English must have been passed at the Secondary Level.
Notes-
Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PH) will be given relaxation in academic marks up to 5%.

Relaxation in qualifications is admissible at the discretion of DSSSB/concerned authority, provided reasons are recorded in writing and the candidate is otherwise fully qualified.

Candidates who do not possess the essential qualifications clearly mentioned in the Recruitment Rules need not apply.

In compliance with Services O.M. No. F.19(11)/2015/S-IV/1751-1756 dated 11.06.2019, Contract/Guest Teachers (Directorate of Education) who have not availed age relaxation earlier will be given one time upper age relaxation.

Age Limit
The maximum age limit for the post of Primary Teacher is 30 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given upper age relaxation as per rules.

Pay Scale: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400/- (Pay Level – 6)
