
LIC Exam Dates Released
The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has officially announced the dates for the preliminary examination for Administrative Officer (AAO) and Assistant Engineer (AE) recruitment. According to the notification, the LIC AAO preliminary exam is scheduled for October 3, 2025. Applications for this recruitment were accepted from August 16 to September 8, 2025. With the exam approaching, candidates are advised to intensify their preparation.
When Will the Admit Card Be Released?
As per the notification issued by LIC, the admit cards for the preliminary exam will be available for download on the official website licindia.in seven days prior to the exam date. Candidates will need to enter their registration number/roll number and password/date of birth to download their admit cards online.
Additionally, information regarding the admit card and the download link will also be sent to all candidates' registered email addresses. Candidates can click on the link and log in to download their call letters directly.
Steps to Download the Admit Card
To download the admit card, follow these steps:
Preliminary Exam Pattern
The LIC AAO preliminary exam will consist of a total of 100 multiple-choice questions worth 70 marks. The question paper will include:
- 35 questions from Reasoning Ability
- 35 questions from Quantitative Aptitude
- 30 questions from English Language (focusing on grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension)
Candidates will have a total of 60 minutes to complete the exam. It is important to note that there is no negative marking for incorrect answers, and only those who pass the preliminary exam will qualify for the main examination.
