The year 2025 turned out to be a memorable one for South superstar Rajinikanth, as his film Coolie created a storm at the box office. The megastar’s stylish screen presence once again captivated fans, and this time he was joined by two other big names—South legend Nagarjuna and Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who made a special cameo appearance. The film’s engaging storyline and powerful performances helped it win both critical appreciation and box office glory.

Rajinikanth’s Coolie is now available for audiences to watch on Prime Video. The film began streaming on 11 September 2025 in four different languages. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the movie runs for 2 hours 50 minutes, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander and production backed by Kalanithi Maran. Apart from Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, and Aamir Khan, the ensemble cast also features Sathyaraj, Mahesh Manjrekar, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, and Upendra Rao.

With a massive budget of Rs 350–400 crores, Coolie exceeded expectations by grossing around Rs 515 crores worldwide. Out of this, nearly Rs 180 crores came from overseas markets, underlining Rajinikanth’s unmatched global appeal. Thanks to its strong storyline centered on gangster life and the deep bond of friendship between two characters, the film struck a chord with audiences across regions.

Now, with its OTT release, fans who missed the theatrical run can finally experience the magic of Coolie from their homes.
