It’s suddenly raining discounts, and ahead of most manufacturers passing on the new GST benefits to customers, some who are to see a hike, are also offering benefits in the form of discounts. In this particular instance, we are speaking of Moto Morini, which is offering discounts on the Seiemmezzo 650 models.
Moto Morini Seiemmezzo models discount
The Moto Morini Seiemmezzo range consists of two 650cc models, a scrambler and a retro street bike. The two models are seeing a discount worth Rs 91,000. With the discount that will last till September 21, the two Seiemmezzo models are priced at Rs 4.29 lakh, exshowroom, making them extremely affordable.
This, however, is not the first price cut the motorcycles are receiving. Earlier this year, the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo street bike was priced at Rs 6.99 lakh while the 650 Scrambler was priced at Rs 7.10 lakh, both exshowroom. The two motorcycles saw a price reduction of Rs 2 lakh, making them more affordable, and now, the prices have been brought down further.
Also, Moto Morini has announced that customers can save more on the motorcycles if they are bought before September 21, as the new GST slab will make them more expensive by Rs 33,000. That said, Moto Morini is also offering other loan and EMI options to attract customers. The company is also offering extended loan tenures and covering up to 95 percent of the motorcycle value.
Moto Morini Seiemmezzo models
The Moto Morini Seiemmezzo models differ primarily in their looks. The street naked differs from the scrambler owing to the alloy wheels, while the scrambler wears wirespoke wheels. Other differences are minor and cosmetic. The motorcycles get adjustable KYB suspension for the front and rear, Brembo brakes at both ends, and dualchannel ABS, amongst others.
Powering the motorcycles is also the same engine, a 649 cc, in line, liquidcooled twin cylinder unit. The engine makes 55 bhp and 54 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a sixspeed gearbox. With the reduction in price, the two Moto Morini models are sitting closer to the Royal Enfield 650 models.
