SSC CGL Exam 2025: Big mess in CGL exam, paper canceled at many centers, including Delhi-Jammu, tension of lakhs of students increased

On the very first day of the SSC CGL 2025 exam, the paper was canceled at many centers in Delhi, Jammu, and Gurugram. Due to which lakhs of candidates are angry, now the exam will be held on new dates.

SSC CGL 2025 (Combined Graduate Level Exam), one of the biggest examinations of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), started today, but there was chaos at many centers from the very first day. About 28 lakh candidates from all over the country are appearing in this exam, but reports of technical and administrative problems came from many centers in Delhi, Gurugram and Jammu.

The exam was to be held in three shifts

SSC had fixed the CGL exam in three shifts. First shift: 9 am to 10 am, second shift: 11:45 am to 12:45 pm and third shift: 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. But students had to face problems at many places since morning.

Exam canceled in Gurugram

The exam was canceled in M.M. Public School of Gurugram, along with this, the paper could not be held in Bharti Vidya Niketan School of Delhi due to administrative reasons. In the notice issued by SSC, it has been told that the students who had exams today at these two places, their exams will now be held on 24, 25 and 26 September 2025.

Exam could not be held in Jammu due to technical reasons

The first shift paper was also canceled in Digital Computer Education Center, Jammu. In the notice issued by SSC (North West Region), it was said that this exam could not be held due to technical problems, now the exam of the candidates here will be held on 26 September 2025.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has appealed to the candidates to be patient. The commission said that all the students will be informed about the new dates as soon as possible and their examination will be conducted in a proper manner. SSC has also assured that strict steps will be taken to prevent such problems in future.

In a big exam like SSC CGL, the hopes of lakhs of students were dashed due to technical and administrative glitches on the very first day. The anger of the students was clearly visible due to the cancellation or delay of the examination in Delhi, Gurugram and Jammu. Now everyone's eyes are fixed on whether the examination is conducted smoothly in the coming days or more problems arise.
