The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has issued a new alert regarding the security of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. The agency said in a letter written on September 10 that Rahul Gandhi often leaves abroad without giving prior notice, which pose a serious threat to his security.
Rahul Gandhi provides Z-Plus category security CRPF. The agency says that if the information of the journey schedule is not shared in time, the security mechanisms may be weak and the potential risk increases. According to sources, this is not the first time CRPF has warned Rahul Gandhi. Even before this, he has been advised to follow the security protocol several times.
This time, considering the matter serious, CRPF has also sent a letter to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, so that it can be taken seriously at the party level. Recently, the discussion about Rahul Gandhi’s frequent foreign visits has also been intensified.
The security agency has made it clear that such steps are not only a violation of the protocol, but also pose a threat to Rahul Gandhi’s personal security. Now it has to be seen whether the Congress reacts officially to this issue.
