DSSSB PRT Recruitment 2025: The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Commission (DSSSB) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Teachers (PRT) in Primary Schools. The online application process will commence on September 17, 2025, and the deadline for submissions is set for October 16, 2025. Interested applicants can apply through the official website.

Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

Educational Qualifications:

Applicants must have completed their 12th grade or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized educational board.

Additionally, candidates should possess a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El Ed/ETE/JBT/DIET/B.El.Ed) recognized by the NCTE, with a duration of at least 2 years.

It is mandatory for candidates to have cleared the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) administered by CBSE.

Furthermore, candidates must have studied Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, or English as a language subject at the secondary level (10th grade).

Age Limit and Relaxation

The upper age limit for applicants is 30 years. Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates from reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS, etc.) in accordance with government regulations.

Application Fee Structure

For these positions, candidates from the General Category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100. However, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Divyangjan (PwD), and Ex-Servicemen categories are exempt from paying any fees.

Salary and Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary based on Pay Level-6, which ranges from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400, making it an attractive compensation package for applicants.
