Rising Pakistani actor and musician Samar Jaffri has opened up about his aspirations across the border and his dream projects in both acting and music.
In a recent appearance on Golootlo’s interview show Naam Faizan, hosted by Faizan, Samar revealed the names of Indian stars he would love to work with. He also spoke about the kind of projects that inspire him at this stage of his career.
Samar, who earned fame for his performance as Fakihir in Mayi Ri and later as a musician in Parwarish, said he envisions making his Bollywood debut alongside Alia Bhatt. “I want my Bollywood debut to be with Alia Bhatt. I would love to do a movie like Student of the Year, because I am currently fond of Karan Johar’s movies, where he presents college students as heroes in his classic romantic style,” the young actor said.
He also revealed his admiration for Indian cricket star Virat Kohli, calling him his “forever favourite.”
On the music side, Samar expressed his wish to collaborate with Kaavish and Diljit Dosanjh. “Kaavish and Diljit Dosanjh are my dream collaborations. I would love to do a pure Punjabi track with Diljit and a slow, romantic one with Kaavish,” he shared.
Fans praised his candid and ambitious outlook, saying his choices reflect his versatility and passion for both acting and music.
