Earlier, Ranbir opened up about quitting smoking after the birth of his daughter, Raha.

“Right now, the focus is just to spend time with my daughter. I have changed a lot of my lifestyle. I have quit smoking and drinking. I am really trying to clean up my life. I have entered my 40s and want to be healthy for my kid and for myself,” the actor had said.

Besides Ranbir, the film also stars Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol and Ravie Dubey as Hanuman and Laxman, respectively, Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodri and Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakha.

Sharing the first look of the film, the makers wrote, “Ten years of Aspiration. Relentless Conviction to bring the Greatest Epic of all time to the World. An outcome through a collaboration of some of the world’s best to ensure that Ramayana is presented with the greatest amount of Reverence and Respect. Welcome to the Beginning. Let’s Celebrate the IMMORTAL story of Rama v/s Ravana. Our Truth. Our History.”
