SBI Specialist Officer Recruitment: State Bank of India has released recruitment for the posts of Specialist Officer. The application process for this recruitment has started. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website. The last date of application is 2 October 2025. The target of this recruitment drive is to fill a total of 122 posts.

Who can apply?

The eligibility is different for all the posts. Candidates with a graduation, B.Tech / BE, CA, ICWA, MBA / PGDM, MCA, PGDBM, or PGDBA degree in any subject can apply. For more information related to eligibility, candidates can read the official notification.

The age limit for SBI Specialist Officer posts has been fixed as follows: 28 to 35 years for the post of Manager, 25 to 32 years for the post of Deputy Manager, and 25 to 35 years for the post of Manager (Credit Analyst).

How much will be the application fee?

The application fee for General, EWS, and OBC candidates is Rs 750, while there is no fee for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.

Selection Process: Based on Shortlisting and Interview

Shortlisting: Merely fulfilling the minimum qualification and experience does not mean that the candidate will be called for an interview. The shortlisting committee constituted by the Bank will decide the criteria for shortlisting the candidates. Based on that, the Bank will call an adequate number of candidates for an interview. The decision to call for an interview will be the final decision of the Bank, and no individual correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

Interview and Merit List: The interview will be of 100 marks, and the qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank. The merit list will be prepared in descending order on the basis of interview marks only. In case multiple candidates obtain the same cut-off marks, the position will be decided in descending order based on their age.

Call Letter: Intimation or call letter for interview will be sent through email or uploaded on the Bank's website. Hard copy will not be sent to any candidate.

How much salary will you get?

Different salaries have been fixed for all the posts. The salary starts from Rs 64,820 and goes up to a maximum of Rs 1,05,280.
