Hong Kong Open Badminton Tournament: India’s players have played their ducks in the Hong Kong Open. Indian player Target Senate, Satvikasairaj Rankreddy-Chirag Shetty, star men, won the Hong Kong Open Super 2 final by winning a straight game on Saturday.

The World Championship bronze medalist 3-year-old target defeated Chou Tien Chen’s Chau Tien Chen, who is ranked ninth in the world rankings. Target Sen had finalized the final of the Canada Open Super 1 tournament on July 7. The target, which is currently ranked 7th in the world rankings, will be with China’s second -seeded Lee Shi Feng.

In the world rankings, the ninth and Chira, the ninth, defeated Chinese Taipei’s Bing-Waye Lin and Chen Cheng Kuan 2-1, 6-3. With this victory, the Indian duo have reached the final for the first time after losing six semifinal matches this season. Now in the final match, the eighth-seeded Indian pair will face the winning pair in the second semifinals between China’s Liang Wei Kang and Wang Chang and Chinese Taipei’s Fang-Chih Lee and Fang-Jen Lee.

In the first game, both pairs were equal to 3-1 and 3-5. But due to the fast ‘interface’ of Satvik’s Smash and Chirag, this Indian duo had taken a 2-0 lead. After that, Taiwan’s pair made a good comeback and the score was brought to a standstill. However, the Indian duo also got a 2-0 lead. The Indian pair won the game on the second game point due to Chirag’s fast return. In the next game, Chen and Lynn started a good start and managed to get a 2-1 lead, but India made it to the top of the match 2-1.

Some of Chirag’s mistakes were made to India. Therefore, Taiwan’s pair took a 2-0 lead. The Indian pair was in trouble. But Satvik managed to make the score 3-1 by hitting another fast smash. The Indian duo then strengthened their grip on the match and scored the score 1-3. Soon the score was moved to 19-21, and the chain’s mistake got five match points for Satwik and Chirag and India’s victory was fixed.
