Bomb Threats Prompt Security Measures

On Saturday, both the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple and the Attukal Bhagavathy Temple in Kerala were subjected to a bomb threat received via email. In response, local police and bomb disposal units have been dispatched to the locations to conduct thorough security checks. Authorities have indicated that the threat was non-specific.

Earlier on the same day, the Taj Palace hotel in Delhi also received a bomb threat via email. However, after a thorough investigation, the Delhi Police confirmed that no suspicious items were found, deeming the threat a hoax. The initial alert prompted a significant security response, with bomb disposal teams conducting extensive checks around the hotel.

A spokesperson for Taj Palace reassured that the threat was unfounded and emphasized the hotel management's commitment to safety. "Following a comprehensive security review, authorities have confirmed that the incident was a hoax. The safety of our guests and staff is our top priority, and we remain vigilant," the spokesperson stated.

Additionally, on Friday, both the Delhi High Court and the Bombay High Court received similar bomb threats via email, which were also confirmed to be hoaxes after thorough inspections by relevant agencies.

This is an evolving situation, and further updates are anticipated.
