Exciting Release of 'Homebound'
The eagerly awaited film 'Homebound', starring Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, and Janhvi Kapoor, is poised to premiere in Indian theaters shortly. Directed by Neeraj Ghaywan and produced by Dharma Productions, this film has already garnered international recognition, having been featured at prestigious events such as the Cannes Film Festival 2025 and the Toronto International Film Festival.
Dharma Productions announced the release on Instagram, stating: “No feeling is final. #Homebound is set to hit cinemas on September 26, worldwide.”
The film is officially scheduled for release in India on September 26, 2025.

About 'Homebound'
The narrative revolves around two childhood friends from a small village in North India who aspire to become police officers to gain respect and dignity. As they edge closer to realizing their dreams, they face challenges that test their friendship and choices. Director Neeraj Ghaywan describes it as a poignant tale of friendship, resilience, and the strength of those often overlooked by society.
Recently, the film received a nine-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival 2025.
