Rohini Acharya has raised sharp questions on PM Modi regarding the inauguration of airport in flood -plated Bihar. He said that the help of flood victims should be priority, not a showy program. Know how this issue has become the center of discussion in politics.

Patna: Floods in Bihar have disturbed life. Many districts of Seemanchal and Northeast are submerged in water, there is waterlogging on the roads, crops have been ruined in the fields and millions of people are forced to spend their lives in relief camps. In such a situation, the citizens of the state are in dire need of relief, medicine, food and livelihood. But in the meantime, the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Bihar and the airport inauguration have created a new controversy.

This time to help flood victims

Rohini Acharya, RJD leader and sister of Tejashwi Yadav, made a scathing attack on PM Modi, saying that this is not the inauguration of any airport, but to help the flood victims. He alleged that the airport that the Prime Minister was coming to inaugurate, he himself had already told it to be operational. Rohini taunted and said, "Never mind, Prime Minister is known to do such things and is forced to do such things."

Rohini further said that it is unfortunate that in a poor state like Bihar, the floods are being spent on programs instead of focusing on the problems of the people suffering. He questioned the Prime Minister whether he knows that millions of people of Bihar are living homeless from floods and are living in relief camps, which do not have adequate food and medicines.

More essential boat than air

Rohini said, "The flying of the airplane will be worthwhile only when the life of the general public is free from troubles. Right now the need is to run more and more boats instead of flying airplanes." He said that people are living a life of displacement in flood affected areas. Children's education is at a standstill, women are not getting a safe place, the crops of farmers have been ruined and the employment crisis has deepened. He said that government relief arrangements are insufficient and the apathy of the administration is increasing the pain of the people.

Remember the promise of sugar mill

Rohini Acharya also made a personal request to the Prime Minister. He said, "You come to Bihar again and again, but forget your earlier promises every time you promise something new. The promise made for the Madhaura sugar mill is still incomplete. Next time you come, give me a chance to drink tea made from Madhura sugar mill sugar with you!"

Opinion of meeting flood victims

Rohini also said that the Prime Minister should visit the flood affected areas and review the relief work going on there. "If the relief work is not reviewed by going among the people struggling with the floods, then this tour will only become a formalities. The people of Bihar need not just promises and announcements, but need concrete help."
