The actress, who recently made her debut as both actor and executive producer at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2025 with her film Bayaan, is now in the spotlight for a different reason. A viral photo from a recent celebration featuring Huma and her long-time rumoured boyfriend, Rachit Singh, has fans convinced that the couple is now engaged. While there’s no official confirmation yet, the reports are making rounds on the internet.

The buzz around Huma’s personal life picked up after singer Akasa Singh posted a candid picture with Huma and Rachit, along with a cryptic caption: “Congratulations on your little piece of heaven with the best name, Huma. Had the best night.” The post sparked a wave of engagement rumours, and fans quickly began speculating that the couple may have made things official in private.

In addition, according to TOI, the couple made a stylish appearance at Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding, twinning in matching pink outfits. Their easy chemistry didn’t go unnoticed, and their presence together only added fuel to the curiosity around their relationship. More recently, Huma was spotted celebrating Rachit’s birthday in an intimate setting.


Who Is Rachit Singh?

While Huma is a well-known face in Bollywood, Rachit Singh is respected behind the scenes. He is a seasoned acting coach in the Indian film industry and has trained top stars like Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Anushka Sharma, and many more. His workshops are known for their intensity and impact, and his reputation as a mentor is solid across the industry.

Rachit made his acting debut in the JioHotstar series Karmma Calling, where he played the role of Vedant opposite Raveena Tandon. His performance received praise for being natural and impactful.


Born in Varanasi, Rachit moved to New Delhi in 2012, where he initially worked as a ramp model. By 2016, he shifted to Mumbai to fully pursue acting and coaching. He started his career working closely with Atul Mongia, helping set up the Artist Collective and training actors for various film projects.

Later, Rachit founded his own company, RSW (Rachit Singh Workshops), and has since conducted over 100 acting workshops across India. His students range from emerging talents to established stars. Today, Rachit is considered one of the top acting coaches in the country.


Meanwhile, on the work front, Huma Qureshi is set to appear next in Jolly LLB 3, the third instalment of the courtroom comedy-drama directed by Subhash Kapoor. She will be sharing the screen with Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Amrita Rao, and Saurabh Shukla. The film is slated to release this Friday in theatres.
