With the new update, WhatsApp has also changed the Calls tab. Now users can directly see their schedule calls from here. There is also an option to reach call details early and change time when needed. When a user calls a call, he is given the option to choose contact or group, so that all participants can be sent invitations.
Full support for iOS 26
Although it is not mentioned in the official Chanjalog, this update is fully compatible with iOS 26.0 SDK. This means that now the app can take advantage of the new system-level improvements and bug fixes of iOS 26. This will improve performance and stability.
Liquid glass interface not yet
The company has also made it clear that the new Liquid Glass interface has not been activated in this update at the moment. Like other apps (such as Facebook and Messenger), WhatsApp is also kept in testing and refining stage.
