UPPRPB UP Police Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2025
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has reported an overwhelming response for the Sub-Inspector and equivalent positions, with applications exceeding 15.7 lakh. Official statistics indicate that a total of 15,72,261 applications were submitted, which rose to 15,75,760 after the deadline for amendments and fee payments on September 15.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 4,543 Sub-Inspector positions. The application portal was open until September 11, and candidates were allowed to make changes to their applications until September 15.
The board will announce the date for the written examination four weeks prior to the test. The selection process will consist of a written exam, followed by document verification and a physical standard test (PST). Candidates will be invited for document verification and PST based on their written exam scores and the number of available positions.
With approximately 346 candidates competing for each available post, the recruitment board has received a total of 15,75,760 applications for the 4,543 vacancies.
