Online application process
Follow the steps below to apply online:
1. Go to the official website of Tin-NSDL.
2. Click on the “Apply online” tab on the home page.
3. Click on “Apply for PAN Card” option.
4. Click on the option “Repuishing for PAN card” option.
5. Enter your PAN number, Aadhaar number and date of birth.
6. Click on checkbox and click on the “Proceed” button.
7. Enter your mobile number or email ID.
8. Click on the “Generate OTP” button.
9. Enter OTP and click on the “Submit” button.
10. Fill your personal information.
11. Upload your photo.
12. Pay the application fee.
13. Click on the “Submit” button.
14. You will receive a copy of the application, which you can use to check the status of the application.
Offline application process
Follow the steps below to apply offline:
- Visit your nearest PAN service center.
- Fill up the application form.
- Submit the required documents.
- Pay the application fee.
- The application fee is Rs 110, which you can pay through demand draft, check or credit card.

- Birth certificate
- Address proof
It takes about 15-20 working days to get a duplicate PAN card. You can get it from the PAN service center or get it ordered by post at your address.
