Senior Pakistani actor Faisal Rehman recently shared some candid insights about his career and personal experiences during a podcast interview, where he also humorously claimed that his dimples are more famous than those of rising star Hania Amir.

Faisal opened up about his early life and struggles, revealing that his uncle (taya) lived in India. Due to Bollywood’s fame and opportunities, Faisal used to ask his uncle to adopt him so he could work in Bollywood. However, his uncle declined without providing any reason.

During the 1980s, when Faisal was actively working in films, he often visited India and spent one to one and a half months with his uncle. At that time, Indian visas were easier to obtain, allowing Faisal to explore Bollywood opportunities by attending auditions. Unfortunately, despite his efforts, he was unable to achieve success in Bollywood as filmmakers were hesitant to cast Pakistani actors due to nationality issues.

Faisal emphasized that working in any country should not be considered taboo. “If we can work in the US, Dubai, or elsewhere, then why should working in India be an issue?” he questioned. However, he acknowledged that the current political climate between Pakistan and India has made such opportunities much more difficult.

When asked about his famous dimples, Faisal confidently stated that his dimples are more recognized than those of Hania Amir, who is relatively new to the industry. He mentioned that having been in the industry for many years, even older women admire his dimples. Faisal has two dimples—one very prominent and the other less noticeable. He joked that when he gains a little weight, the second dimple becomes more visible.

The actor’s lighthearted remarks about his dimples have quickly become a talking point among fans, adding a playful chapter to his long and respected career.
