Court Delivers Sentence for Motorcycle Theft
Bhubaneswar: A man has been sentenced to three years in prison by a Bhubaneswar court for the theft of a motorcycle.
The incident occurred on July 9, when a priest parked his motorcycle outside the Ram temple in Laxmisagar at approximately 5 PM. Upon returning after about thirty minutes, he discovered that his motorcycle was gone.
Following the priest's report, police apprehended a suspect named Sajid Khan on July 22.
Judicial Magistrate of First Class (JMFC)-IV Somesh Soumyajit Panda found Khan guilty and imposed a three-year prison sentence.
Additionally, the court levied a fine of Rs 10,000, stating that failure to pay would result in an additional three months of incarceration.
