Police Encounter Claims Lives of Suspects
In Bareilly, two individuals who opened fire outside actress Disha Patani's residence were killed during a police encounter. Following their deaths, gang leader Rohit Godara took to social media to issue a stark warning of retaliation. He stated, 'The shooters who were killed are martyrs, not mere casualties. We will seek vengeance. Those accountable, regardless of their wealth or influence, will face consequences.'
Godara's Disturbing Claims
Godara further asserted that the incident represented not justice, but a significant loss for Sanatan Dharma, alleging that authorities targeted individuals who, in his view, sacrificed their lives for their faith.
Rohit Godara's Facebook Statement
In a Facebook message, Godara expressed, 'Ram Ram to all my brothers, I am Rohit Godara. The encounter today is a tremendous loss for us. Let me clarify! The news channels are misreporting! These individuals are not just dead; they have sacrificed their lives for Dharma! Have some dignity! You chant Sanatan with one voice, yet those who defend it are slain!' He continued, 'This is not justice; it is a defeat for Sanatan! Those who stand for Dharma are killed in this nation! If you are sincere, raise your voice! Seek justice for our fallen brothers! This is a business masquerading as Sanatan Dharma! Citizens should be cautious! If we can fight for Dharma, we will take actions for our martyred brothers that are beyond imagination! Whoever is involved, no matter how affluent or powerful, will be held accountable!'
Details of the Incident on September 17
The suspects involved in the shooting at Disha Patani's home were killed in an encounter in Ghaziabad on September 17, executed by the UP STF and the Delhi Police Special Cell. Two additional suspects from Baghpat remain at large. The motive behind the shooting is still unclear, but it is suspected to be connected to a recent online dispute involving Disha's sister, Khushboo, and a religious figure.
